Arethusa is born with the precise idea of being one of the European reference point in the education/training in the tattoo world.
We looked for the best of the best.
We personally know all the artisans that make our tools and we worked together for creating something unique for our students. Our enthusiasm infected our Partners in Crime and they started seeing what the project really was. We all the love they pushed themselves too for giving us something exclusive, something never seen before, something that you can find only in Arethusa.
That’s why we are not as the others, We are a group of crazy motherfuckers that gives 110% of themselves everyday, and that’s what we expect from our selected students.
Really small classes are necessary for offering that high standard we are set into. We want a personal treatment for every student, we have to know where to focus because every single student has a different necessity, but all of them are our priority.

Every day we receive messages from our alumni thanking for what we did, for helping them for real learning a job that opened so many doors. We are the ones that want to thank you all.
Since the first day we started knowing each other. You are sitting there, with no idea of what is going to happen. The majority have never seen a tattoo machine, and if someone tried one, it has been with no results.
You are all there, with so much wish of learning and eating the whole world.
Everyone of you is different, with your own “frustration moment”. Sometimes we may make you do exercises that are not so funny, and they may even seem impossible, but are essential in the learning process.
Every time it’s a new challenge for us. Each one of you has different needs, and it means a personalized method for blooming the best of you. It’s not always easy. We do not lie to each other, but we always do our best for help you go beyond your limits.
Practice on both synthetic sleeves and on real people is part of the course. They are that moment in which after learning the technique, you have to use your creativity.
When we see projects at this level, made by alumni that never made a tattoo before the course, we realize that our efforts are worth it.

One of the key moments during our alumni learning process is the real practices.
Even if the have already learned all the techniques in our hyperrealistic synthetic skin and they already have developed their creativity with the sleeve prosthesis. The contact with real skin still is one of the crucial points in their route as tattoo artists.
They have total freedom, they can do any piece they like but it has to represent their personality and it has to be in the style they want to focus on.
It’s an incredible honor for us to be on their side during this journey that literally changes their lives. It’s an unbelievable satisfaction seeing them flying with their own wings.
